Well here is my first attempt at this "blogging" business! I am so unfamiliar with this new technology it really does show my age!
Anyway, the Macmillan Nurses Charity Golf Day at Bawburgh Golf Club on the 13th September (yes, it is a Friday!) is fully subscribed with 26 teams having made a verbal commitment to take part and for which I am extremely grateful. The event will have all the usual competitions and a chance for everyone to have a really laid back day hopefully in the sun and with the odd good round of golf thrown in.
This will be our 15th year of supporting this fantastic Charity and I hope that this will be the biggest and best yet especially as they have now made me an Ambassador for the Charity which I am really humbled by. It does, however, make me want to spread the word even more about the amazing work the Nurses do and why every penny raised is so vitally important.
I have this year been able to obtain some really fantastic rounds of golf thanks to the generosity of various Golf Clubs, both local and further afield and my sincere thanks go to all those Clubs who have been kind enough to help me. I will post a complete list shortly of courses that will be available to bid for on the 13th, if not before but to give you a flavour I have rounds available at the following:

I have many more offerings and will make these available asap. I hope to have some very "juicy" bids for these excellent courses so that you can enjoy a round at a course that you do not normally play, the Charity will make some serious money and finally the Clubs who have donated will get extra business in the Clubhouse from visitors.
